This fountain pen was scheduled to be released in spring 2024. There was an earthquake in Wajima on New Year's Day, and all six of the workshops and stores where we paint were burned down.
The next day, the president worked hard to secure a new location, and work resumed at the new location in May. In the midst of despair after the entire town had been burned down , On the contrary, I was encouraged by his determination to find a house in Wajima where he could paint.
With the hope that the seaside town of Wajima will soon return to being the place where people gather again as before, This is a fountain pen with the Sakura motif of revival.
Sales are scheduled to begin after July 2024 .

Fountain pens are short and thick, and are designed to be held with the cap on. It is designed with an exquisite balance. It is designed to be used only with cartridges.
These products, which are finished with lacquer and mother-of-pearl inlay, have been named "Urushi-taka." The "Urushi-Taka" series is made of ebonite, with the surface coated with lacquer and decorated with mother-of-pearl inlay.
The unique beauty of this fountain pen is the result of a special thick coating technique that is only handed down by a select few Wajima lacquer artisans, and we hope you will take it in your hands and experience the difference in the coating.
The ebonite base was specially made by Eboya. The shape and size of this fountain pen are unlike anything you've ever seen before.

Exquisitely beautiful and masterfully created. This fountain pen is perhaps one of the finest pens in my collection. Even with the 800 pound price tag (with tax) it still competes with the likes of Nakaya and Namiki.
In fact I maybe as bold to say that I prefer this to my Yukari herb decoration!

When I spoke to Yurie about this fountain pen I did have my doubts whether or not this would be a usable pen in regards to posting the cap on the barrel. However, much to my delight this pen posts well and it doesn’t affect the surface. I know some people may be a little bit dubious about this, however, in my experience of owning this pen it has proven to be an absolute godsend. I love that this pen is so transformative, and pleasant to write with. That being said, I would like to see some options in the future to have custom grinds as an option.
As for the design of this fountain pen, I must say it is absolutely incredible, the application of lacquer with the depiction of cherry blossoms is just beautiful.
