Shikkō Fountain Pen
Move On — Wisteria (purple)
A pen that holds joy. Bringing Wajima craftsmanship to the words you write each day.
Shikkō Fountain Pen
Move On — Wisteria (purple)
Crafting the finest techniques of Wajima-nuri into a pen for everyday use.
Even after the New Year’s Day earthquake and the September floods in 2024, we keep “moving on.” We entrust this fountain pen with the wish that every moment of writing in your hands will carry Wajima’s craftsmanship forward to what comes next.
Against a deep jet-black ground, clusters of wisteria painted by a female maki-e artist glow softly.
With natural urushi, the gentle sheen responds to the warmth of your fingertips, deepening over time and developing character each time you write.
Design & Supervision
Under the supervision of Mr. Kozo Yamazaki—organizer of the Kobe Pen Show and representative of the yy Pen Club—we pursued a new sense of size and balance. An ebonite core is prepared with Wajima-nuri’s meticulous undercoats and topcoats, then finished with finely detailed maki-e.

About the Shippo (Seven Treasures) Pattern
With interlinked circles that continue endlessly, Shippo symbolizes harmony, good fortune, and human connection.
It conveys the idea that bonds between people are as precious as the “seven treasures.”
We chose this textile with the hope that this pen will widen the circle of connection through writing—and to share the beauty of Japanese silk weaving with people around the world.

FROM JAPAN TO OVERSEAS
Japanese tradition and Japanese beauty to the world.
Made using natural materials, it can only be applied by humans.
Sensations and feelings that only humans can feel.
We are particular about the feel, texture, and each and every ingredient.
Japan is home to many beautiful traditional art pieces that are carefully crafted by artisans.
I want to share that beauty with the world.

About yurie style
Each and every product from yurie style is a work of art created with the help of many people and craftsmen.
We would like to cherish the thoughts of these people and deliver these beautiful works to people all over the world.
We hope that you will enjoy purchasing high-quality products that are authentic, and we will continue to deliver products that are focused on "true Japanese beauty."

Nishijin-ori
Nishijin weaving
When you think about raising silk from silkworms, how much time, effort, and labor does it take?
Starting with the design and dyeing the thread, a single piece of textile is completed through more than 20 steps.
Each and every step of the process is still carried out carefully by hand.
While most Nishijin-ori textiles use synthetic fibers such as polyester, we use fabrics from Konkan Shoten, a long-established Kyoto store that specializes in pure silk.

Wajima-nuri
Wajima Lacquer
The unique beauty of a fountain pen is
This is a masterpiece created using a special thick coating technique that is only handed down to a few craftsmen in the Wajima lacquerware genre, which uses genuine lacquer.

Ebonite
Ebonite base and wooden shaft
We received help from Eboya, the only ebonite manufacturer in Japan, and a woodworking artist to help make this piece.
A beautiful form that can only be created with Japanese technology.
Each and every piece is made possible through the connections and ties of many people.
