Shikkō Fountain Pen

Continuing the Finest Techniques of Wajima Urushi

Shikkō Fountain Pen

Move On

Camellia (Red)

A ring of camellia blossoms upon the deep, glossy black.
The vermilion petals hold depth and shadow, gently changing expression as the light shifts. On the lustrous deep-green leaves, you can feel a quiet sense of life—moist, vivid, and serene. A restrained touch of gold at the flower’s center glimmers softly, bringing the entire design into refined harmony.

The flow of the branch is deliberately understated, leaving generous space and silence within the composition.
Glamorous, yet somehow tranquil.
This pen carries a dignified presence in the hand, and beautifully “sets” your everyday words in order.

The pinnacle of craftsmanship handed down by Wajima artisans—made into a pen meant to be used in daily life.

Even after the New Year’s Day earthquake of 2024 and the September floods, we continue to move forward—“Move On.”
In the world of Wajima-nuri, there is no other urushi craftsman who can apply this Shin-nuri finish.

Design & Supervision

Supervised by Kōzō Yamazaki, Organizer of the Kobe Pen Show and Representative of the YY Pen Club.
This pen pursues an unprecedented sense of size, balance, and comfort. An ebonite body is finished in Wajima urushi, then adorned with meticulously detailed maki-e.

FROM JAPAN TO OVERSEAS

Japanese tradition and Japanese beauty to the world.

Made using natural materials, it can only be applied by humans.
Sensations and feelings that only humans can feel.
We are particular about the feel, texture, and each and every ingredient.
Japan is home to many beautiful traditional art pieces that are carefully crafted by artisans.

I want to share that beauty with the world.

About yurie style

Each and every product from yurie style is a work of art created with the help of many people and craftsmen.
We would like to cherish the thoughts of these people and deliver these beautiful works to people all over the world.

We hope that you will enjoy purchasing high-quality products that are authentic, and we will continue to deliver products that are focused on "true Japanese beauty."

Nishijin-ori

Nishijin weaving

When you think about raising silk from silkworms, how much time, effort, and labor does it take?
Starting with the design and dyeing the thread, a single piece of textile is completed through more than 20 steps.
Each and every step of the process is still carried out carefully by hand.

While most Nishijin-ori textiles use synthetic fibers such as polyester, we use fabrics from Konkan Shoten, a long-established Kyoto store that specializes in pure silk.
