Snowflake (Sekka)

Sale price¥165,000 JPY

Snowflake (Sekka)

A quiet winter night.
A single snowflake, suddenly illuminated by the light of a street lamp, softly falls and then disappears.

"Sekka" is a fountain pen that gently captures this fleeting sparkle.
The lacquered barrel, reminiscent of the night sky, is inlaid with luminous turban threads.
Blue and green lights, as if scooped up from the depths of the ocean, rise to the surface with each angle,
evoke tranquil snowy night scenes and the sparkle of snow lit by moonlight.

The snowflake maki-e (lacquer lacquer) is drawn with even thinner, more delicate lines than the previous design.
Like snowflakes, no two of which are the same, "snowflakes," each different in size and expression, capture the moment they suddenly fall from the sky.

Please pick it up and savor the crisp winter air and the memories that quietly accumulate deep in your heart.

[Shikko Series]

yurie style Original Wajima Lacquer Fountain Pen "Shikko"

In the world of Wajima Lacquerware, there is no other lacquerer who can apply this Shin-nuri (true lacquer) finish.

This original fountain pen was specially designed under the supervision of Kozo Yamazaki, representative of y.ypenclub and organizer of the Kobe Pen Show. Its short length makes it easy to hold and comfortable, and its capped design makes it perfect for use with a pen.

The simple and elegant design, designed for cartridges only, is a beautiful touch that allows you to focus on the act of writing. The ebonite barrel is custom-made by Eboya, a workshop specializing in ebonite.

*Each pen is handcrafted by a craftsman. As a result, slight variations in the placement of the foil and the finish of the lacquer will occur on each pen.
This is proof that this pen is unique and "made for you." We hope you enjoy the unique character that can only be achieved through handcrafting.

Nishijin-ori

Nishijin weaving

When you think about raising silk from silkworms, how much time, effort, and labor does it take?
Starting with the design and dyeing the thread, a single piece of textile is completed through more than 20 steps.
Each and every step of the process is still carried out carefully by hand.

While most Nishijin-ori textiles use synthetic fibers such as polyester, we use fabrics from Konkan Shoten, a long-established Kyoto store that specializes in pure silk.
